Sweden was one of the very few countries which used its telegraph seals for 'advertising' purposes.
An extensive range of anti-TB and other stickers were issued and I am told that 10% of the cost of sending your greetings by
National Telegrams went to the fight against TB.
Updates. The above was written by Steve Hiscocks. I have added some and re-ordered them more chronologically using 'RH' (Revised Hiscocks) numbers. No pricing as yet. |

Hiscocks added the following note (corrected for re-numbering):
Note. The above seals were the "definitive seals" of their day and in use for many years. The dates quoted are of observed telegrams bearing those seals with a doubt over whether it was No.1 or No.2 on the 1930 telegram but more examples are needed. All were probably in use well before the dates given. |

Hiscocks added the following note:
Note. #10 and #13 [now #11 and #14] above were designed by Olle Hjortzberg who designed many Swedish postage stamps in the early 20th century, and they were for use on special decorative telegraph forms. The Lx numbers refer to those forms as do those on #9 and #14 [now #10 and #12]. Lyx means luxury and blankett means a blank form. |
My note: 'Stöd Kungafonden'. means 'Support Kings Fund'.
Uncertain status, more information needed. |

Hiscocks added the following note:
Note. This seal [#18] is rare and it is not even certain that it is Swedish but information on it came from Sweden and it is obviously inspired by the design of #3 above so it very probably is Swedish. |
