I have no need for this page in the way that books do.
However, many seals contain no reference to the country of origin.
I will use this page for such seals when I do not know where they came from.
I will also add a "Finder / Identifier" below that to help others with this problem.
This is the largest seal that I have ever seen. The design is about 6cm across with the complete seal about 7cm across.
I thought at first that this was from the Netherlands but the online Google translator insists that the writing is in German.
The style looks nothing like any German seals I have seen, but there are other German speaking countries.
It does not look like an Austrian seal, and I have never seen a Swiss seal. Perhaps the shape of the red symbol has significance?
Does anyone know where these were used ?
I hate to waste a page, so here is something to help with the identification of some of the less obvious seals :
Argentina and Uruguay | Austria | Belgium | Bolivia |
Canada | Croatia | Czechoslovakia | Denmark |
Estonia | Finland | France |
Germany | Bavaria, Germany | Greece | Honduras | Hungary | Iceland |
Italy | Latvia | Lithuania | Netherlands |
Norway | Poland | Portugal | Romania | Russia |
Serbia | Sweden | Turkey | Uruguay |
Yugoslavia |
